Spot workload gaps

Color patterns show at-a-glance who's light, who's stacked, and who's got the afternoon open for pickup work.

Real driving buffers

Grey "travel" blocks between jobs use actual Google Maps distance. No more booking an 11am job 40 miles from the 9am.

Double-book warnings

Red borders + alert icons when the same inspector has overlapping appointments. Book anyway if intentional, just see it first.

Dispatch FAQ

What office managers ask before moving to a color-coded workflow.

How does the color-coded calendar help dispatch?

Each inspector's events show their personal color as a left-edge stripe. An office manager dispatching 4 inspectors can see at-a-glance who's light, who's overbooked, and where the day has gaps — without filtering or clicking.

Can the calendar detect double-bookings?

Yes. When the same inspector has overlapping appointments, both events get a red warning border and a double-booking indicator. You can still schedule the conflict if intentional (e.g., a quick radon pickup between jobs), but the warning prevents most accidents.

Does the calendar show travel time between jobs?

Yes. InspectorData automatically adds grey travel-time buffers between back-to-back appointments at different addresses. The buffer uses real driving distance from Google Maps, not fixed padding, so you see whether an 11am job is actually reachable from a 9am job 40 miles away.

Can I print or export the weekly schedule?

Yes. The calendar exports to PDF for client-facing weekly roundups, and the per-inspector view exports to CSV for payroll reconciliation. iCal sync pushes the schedule to each inspector's personal Google/Apple calendar.
